Tiger Woods Eyes Third Win At St Andrews

Tiger Woods is hoping he can become the first golfer to win three times at St Andrews and has told of his affection for the home of Golf.
Tiger’s first win was as an amateur at the age of 19 then he went on to win it twice as a professional in 2000 and 2005.
However Tiger hasn’t hit top form so far this year having trouble of and on the course, but says he will become inspired as he aims to win his 15th major championship.

“I love playing this golf course,” he said. “I fell in love playing this golf course in 1995 when I first got here for my first practice round.
“I’ll never forget it because I played all 18 holes into the wind! The tide changed right when I was out there making the turn.

“It is such a brilliant golf course. There is so much to it, angles and numbers that you need and shots and strategy involved to deal with the wind here. I just love it.”
