Yaya Toure Seals Man City Switch

Man City has signed Yaya Toure from Barcelona for a reported 28 million pounds. The Ivory Coast star has moved away for Barcelona following lack of first team football but says the decision was tough. The moves also see Yaya line up alongside his brother Kolo Toure who was only signed by Man City last year. The star has had much success at Barcelona in the 3 years he served there he won 2 league titles and the Champions League. He bring experience and could be a key player for Man City as they try to qualify for the Champions League.

City manager Roberto Mancini said: “This is another fantastic signing for Manchester City and I am very pleased Yaya has joined us, he is a very good player.
“Everyone knows Yaya is a player that we have admired for a long time and we would like to welcome him to Manchester City.
“He has played at the top level with Barcelona and I am sure his experience and ability will be very important for us.”
A fee has not yet been confirmed by the club but reports earlier this week suggested the deal could be worth £28 million.
